How do I backup my portfolio?

The easiest way to backup your portfolio while you have it running, click on File | Backup Portfolio.  This will compress your portfolio allow you to save it to another location for safe keeping. If you ever want to restore this simply uncompress the file over the old one in the ‘Portfolio Manager’ folder from within your ‘My Documents’ folder.

Alternatively you can choose to just copy the ‘Portfolio Manager’ folder from within your ‘My Documents’ folder. This contains all your portfolio information along with any internal backups created by the program.

I’m having trouble getting my unlock code to work

Please check that you have entered the code in correctly. The best way to do this is to copy and paste the vales into Portfolio Manager. This guarantees that you will not miss type any letters. This is especially the case with 0 (zero) and O (the letter ‘o’).

I’ve lost my unlock code

If you’ve lost your unlock code for Portfolio Manager please contact us with your name and email and we’ll resend your code for you.

I haven’t received my unlock code

Our systems will automatically send you the unlock code via email once your payment has been processed. This generally only takes a few minutes however if you still haven’t received our email please check that the email you supplied us is with a valid email address, and that the email from us hasn’t been filtered by your spam filter. If you have still not received your unlock code please contact us and we will sort it out as soon as possible.

Registering Portfolio Manager

To register Portfolio Manager you will first need to purchase a licence. This can be easily done online by using your credit card, or PayPal account. You will then receive the unlock code via email. This includes a machine ID and the actual unlock code. If you haven’t please check your spam filters to ensure that it did not get blocked

To unlock the application:
1. Run Portfolio Manager and click on the ‘Unlock Program’ button.

2. Here you can enter in the Machine ID and unlock code you received in the email

3. Click the ‘Unlock Program’ button and Portfolio Manager will verify the code and if valid will start the program. You will no longer see this window even after upgrading to a newer version. If the code did not work check that it was correctly entered.
